Hello! I’m Alissa Smith, and this is my husband Travis along with our daughters, Reese and Rory. My journey in the field began in 2015 as a Speech‑Language Pathologist Assistant, and my passion for the work pushed me straight into graduate school. By 2018, I earned my M.S. CCC‑SLP, and I’ve now spent more than eight years delivering speech therapy across schools, telehealth, and private practice settings.
I absolutely love what I do. Helping clients discover their voice—sometimes for the very first time—is the most energizing and meaningful part of my career. I’ve supported countless individuals in strengthening their communication skills and reaching goals that once felt out of reach.
It would be a true privilege to support your family next!
Undergrad programs: University of Colorado at Boulder & Biola University
Graduate program: Midwestern University
I specialize in a variety of areas, including stuttering, voice disorders, language delays, pragmatic disorders, and articulation disorders. I am equipped to handle a wide range of communication challenges. My approach is play‑based with targeted drill activities woven in, while keeping the child in the lead so their interests naturally drive the session.
I’m also a strong believer in providing meaningful, manageable homework and empowering families to practice skills in simple, natural ways right from the comfort of their home.
